Palfinger's new 32m Jumbo

Palfinger has released more details on its new Jumbo class (32-70m) model, the 32 metre ‘CityStar’ P320.

The new platform can be mounted on trucks with Gross Vehicle Weights of 12 tonnes which, combined with its telescopic boom, telescopic jib and zero tailswing, make it ideal for inner city applications. Its 25.5 metres of outreach and up to 700kgs platform capacity make it ideal for a wide range of applications.

Palfinger's P320 City star


Palfinger makes much of its redesigned control panel with easy to read display and information readouts. Its modular design, comprising, display, membrane keypad and joysticks are divided into segments, each of which can be easily and quickly replaced.

As with other units it Palfinger’s Jumbo class the stabiliser sets up is infinitely variable with up to a million possible settings each of which then sets the outreach permitted. Automatic levelling can also allow for up to two degrees of out-of-level limiting the working outreach to maintain stability.

A range of different baskets are available and can be interchanged to suit specific applications and can include options such as integrated tool carriers or a hinged seat for camera work.

A Powerlift system can also be specified for lifting structural elements, such as glass or cladding panels of up to 600kgs, along with personnel in the platform,.
