Swiss crane rental company Welti-Furrer Pneukran & Spezialtransporte was contracted to erect a 2.3-megawatt Enercon E-70 wind turbine at an altitude of 2,465 metres, near the border between Switzerland and Italy. The company elected to use a Terex TC 2800-1 lattice boom truck crane to carry out the lift.
