Building repair....or not

A man working from the platform of a spider lift had a shock yesterday morning as he tried to make the façade of an old building safe.

The man was using the lift in the town of Ashton under Lyne, Greater Manchester, UK, to make the façade safer, by removing some of the bricks at the top, when the whole thing went and was captured on video.

Thankfully he was unhurt and the machine he was working with undamaged. Watch the video, click here
