Summit platforms expands
UK access rental company Summit Platforms has opened two new locations, one in Haydock and one in London West which joins the company's London East depot which it opened in South Ockendon last June.
The new London West depot is located on the Ivory’s industrial estate in Radlett, Hertfordshire, while its Haydock depot is located in Hallwood Avenue, roughly halfway between Liverpool and Manchester. The new locations join depots in Glasgow, Newcastle, Birmingham, Bristol, London East and Portsmouth taking the company's network to eight depots across the UK.
Director James Watson said: “Opening the London East depot in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic and still seeing very positive results, gave us the confidence to continue with our expansion programme in 2021. Having depots either side of London allows us to respond quickly to customer needs anywhere in the capital and the Home Counties. We are now also perfectly placed to assist customers in Greater Manchester and Merseyside, as well as Cheshire, Lancashire and Yorkshire.”
