New access dealer in UK

Craig Rooke, previously with Haulotte UK, has established a new company AXS Sales, to offer new and used access equipment on the UK market.

After starting out in the Access industry Rooke moved to JCB but eventually felt a pull back to access and joined Haulotte UK as account manager for southern UK in 2008. Having left Haulotte in March he says:

“I have a personal passion for customer service and solutions and I firmly believe in the maxim ‘people buy from people’ and being an ‘Access’ person I have decided that now is as good- a-time as any to start my own business. There are now encouraging signs within the Powered Access Industry and a call for quality used equipment is picking up”

AXS Sales has set up in Worcestershire and already has access to an inventory of used equipment including models from Genie, JLG, Niftylift, Liftlux, Upright & Pop-Up. It will also offer a commission based sales service for those looking to sell used equipment.

Rooke also plans to offer assistance to end users looking to buy new, with what he says will be “expert unbiased advice offering the best machines from every manufacturer at the best prices.”

He also plans to offer a variety of service packages along with both in-house and on site training courses.
