Manitowoc expands board
Wisconsin based Manitowoc has appointed two new directors, Roy V. Armes of Cooper Tire and Donald M. Condon of Westlake Chemical, the appointments are effective immediately and take the total number of board members to 10.
Armes, 57, is chairman, president and chief executive of Cooper Tire & Rubber Company, which specialises in the design, manufacture, marketing and sales of passenger car, light and medium truck, motorcycle and racing tyres. Prior to joining Coopers in January 2007 he worked with Whirlpool.

Roy Armes
Condon, 61, is senior vice president, Olefins and corporate business development for Westlake Chemical Corporation which manufactures petrochemicals, plastics, and fabricated plastic products. Prior to joining Westlake in 2006 Condon was managing director of Titan Chemicals a publicly quoted Malaysian company. He remains a director of Titan. Before joining Titan he was president of Conoco Energy Ventures.
