Beware of easy orders

One of our readers is concerned that companies might get scammed by an enquiry for the supposed purchase of hand tools that is currently circulating via email.

The text certainly looks like one of the many fraudulent emails that come thropugh from time to time, although this one is better than most we have seen in that it is quite specific about the requirements. Most of them don’t care much about the goods and show little knowledge of the product.

Always look for senders name in speech marks, a gmail address and web site under construction.

The emails have a UK company name which a credit search will quickly identify as non existent.

Vertikal Comment

Hopefully this item will remind staff to beware of strangers wanting to buy too easily.. The dead giveaway with this type of buyer is that they are not too fussed about the prices – that is simply not the real world.

A few years ago one of our readers followed up on a similar scam involving used cranes(until the point where money involved) You can see that chain of emailslink[/en/news/story/4273/]( by clicking here )

Most importantly if you do not already subscribe to a credit check service do so now, there is a link on the Vertikal Home page to Top Service which is more tailored to the construction related world.
