Dyer and Lewis join Ainscough
The UK’s largest crane rental company Ainscough has hired Julian Dyer and John Lewis and appointed Victoria Tonge as head of marketing.
Lewis, 64, joins Ainscough’s Bristol depot covering the South West area he previously owned Venture Lifting Services in Newbury, which went into administration in February. Lewis has been in the crane business for more than 40 years.
Dyer joins Ainscough from Terex Cranes and will be based at the company’s Hayes, West London depot as heavy crane sales manager for the UK South region. Dyer has spent the best part of his 20 year crane career with Terex/Demag with one short break in the spider crane market working for GGR-Unic.

Julian Dyer
Ainscough’s new marketing manager, Tonge, will be based at Ainscough’s head office in Standish, Lancashire and be responsible for the full communications mix, including advertising, internal communications and PR. She has spent 15 years in the professional services sector and was previously marketing manager for RSM Tenon.

Victoria Tonge
Sales director, George Kesterton, said: “Despite the economic slowdown, Ainscough has continued to maintain a strong presence in the marketplace and John, Julian and Victoria will play key roles in the company’s continuing business development.”
