Cargotec ups its forecast

Cargotec, owner of Hiab loader cranes and Kalmar reach stackers, has increased its full year profit forecasts.

In a brief statement issued this morning the company says: “Based on the operational performance in the third quarter and particularly September, our visibility on the timing and profitability of deliveries during the remainder of the year has increased.”

“As a result Cargotec’s operating profit for 2010 is estimated to be in the range of €120 to 130 million, rather than the earlier estimates that it would exceed €100 million. Both the previous and now specified operating profit guidance includes one-time restructuring costs.”

Cargotec is continuing forecast that total revenues for the year will come in at or close to the 2009 levels for both Industrial & Terminal and Marine reporting segments.
