Terex to invest $1.7million in N.Ireland

Terex has said that it will invest $1.7 million in a new European Business Services Centre in Dungannon creating 35 new jobs.

The announcement was made today at the US-Northern Ireland Economic Conference 2010, in Washington DC chaired by Hilary Clinton.

Terex already has two Powerscreen production facilities in Northern Ireland in Dungannon and Omagh, employing around a 1,000 people in the production of mobile crushing and screening equipment.

The announcement from Terex was not specific about what exactly the new business centre would be responsible for. Further details are expected to be released later.
