New president appointed at Skyjack

Linamar, owner of Skyjack, has announced the appointment of Ken Myers as the new president of the Canadian based aerial lift and telehandler manufacturer.

Myers was previously group president of Linmar's powertrain division.
He joined Linamar in 2002 from Arvin Meritor a US based manufacturer of automotive components for cars and trucks, where at various points in his carreer he was general manager of Roof Systems, general manager of Worldwide Stopping Systems and director of worldwide procurement.

Linamar’s chief operating officer Jim Jarrell said: “We believe that this appointment will offer significant benefits both to the organisation and to our customers who have come to depend upon Skyjack as synonymous with quality and innovation in the aerial lift market.”

Linamar’s chief executive Linda Hasenfratz added: “Ken has a great track record for business growth, tailored for today’s evolving global market.”
