50th Liebherr harbour crane to Russia

Liebherr has delivered its 50th mobile harbour crane in Russia since it started in 1996.

Over the last 15 years Liebherr has delivered at least one example of every different type of the mobile harbour crane it produces. Covering every type of freight, from container handling to bulk operations, from heavy lifts to general cargo.

The 50th Mobile Harbour crane, an LHM 600 - currently the most powerful model in Liebherr’s seven model range - was purchased by Krasnye Barrikady Shipyard in Astrakhan on the shores of the Caspian Sea.

Two Liebherr LHM 600 cranes assembling a heavy lift offshore crane

The LHM 600 has a lifting capacity of 208 tonnes and a maximum outreach of 58 metres. The crane will be mainly used for the manufacturing of ships and tankers.
