Wolffkran opens Nordic branch
Tower crane specialist Wolffkran has opened a new full service crane operation in Lund, near Malmo in southern Sweden.
The new business - Wolffkran Nordic AB – opened in January and is headed by managing director Bengt Carlioth who joined Wolffkran in October in order to establish the new operation. The company will assume responsibility for selling and renting Wolff tower cranes throughout Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Norway.
Carlioth brings over 15 year’s construction market experience and joins from Volvo Construction Equipment where he has covered the markets of Northern Europe. He began his career with a leading Swedish construction company, before moving to excavator manufacturer, Åkerman and then Volvo.

Wolffkran says that the establishment of Wolffkran Nordic is a strategic
development even though it has had a sales office in Sweden for several years.
"Wolffkran will successfully hold its ground against the competition
thanks to its strong rental network and the premium quality of its tower
cranes," said Carlioth.
