Gary Fleckney buys Liftright Access

Gary Fleckney, previously a sales manager with JLG UK, has acquired Liftright Access from Glynn Goodwin.

Liftright Access was established by Goodwin in January 2010 as a bespoke powered access specialist providing a wide range of products and open sourcing, combined with a high level of customer service. The company was also the southern area dealer for Oil & Steel with its base in Bedfordshire.

Fleckney comes from Luton and started his career as an apprenticed engineer with SKF before joining the access industry, since when he has worked throughout the UK and Northern Europe with rental and manufacturing companies including Instant Zip-Up, Upright and JLG Industries since 1984. Liftright will continue to operate from the Bedfordshire area.

Fleckney said: "I have built up an extensive experience in the aerial access platform arena and gained a keen understanding of the end user, rental and sales side of the industry. Liftright is well equipped to advise customers on all aspects of working at height and able to source the precise product to solve a clients access problem. I look forward to building Liftright into a solid and profitable business."

Goodwin took up a used equipment sales management role with Skyjack Europe earlier this year.
