Serge Bosché

Bosché is a Manitou veteran, having worked with the French based company since the early 1980’s he moved into his current job last year as the group merged its Gehl and Manitou operations in North America, prior to that he was chief financial officer.

Vertikal Comment

This is something of a surprise, clearly for Manitou as well, the company, there have been a number of high profile departures from the company since the arrival of Jean-Christophe Giroux in mid-2009.

Whether this is part of the normal changes that occur after a company goes through such a radical switch at the top, as Manitou did in 2009, or the management style of the new chief executive remains unanswered. The sudden loss of such a senior, dedicated and well respected person as Bosché perhaps an indicator.

Perhaps in the fullness of time we will all know?
