Nationwide opens new training depots

Nationwide Access has opened two new training centres, which it says will serve businesses along the M4 corridor in the south west and south Wales regions.

The new centres are based at Burcott Road in Avonmouth, Bristol and the Camffrwydd Enterprise Park in Swansea.

Each centre will offer traditional classroom and practice areas to carry out all Nationwide Access’ powered access training courses.

Nationally recognised Mobile Elevated Working Platform (MEWP) operator certification to the IPAF and CPCS standards for all categories is available, along with ‘Harnesses with MEWP’ courses, highlighting employers and employees responsibilities to inspect, maintain, correctly wear and keep records on harnesses.

Mike Ripton, (External) Training Manager for Nationwide Access, said: “These new facilities satisfy an increasing local demand for our training courses.”

The two new locations bring the Nationwide Access network of training centres to 29.
