New trainer for Link Belt

US based crane manufacturer Link Belt has appointed Jeff Horan, previously product associate, as technical trainer. In his new role Horan reports to Link Belt training manager Lyn Leffler.

Horan joined Link-Belt in 2008 as a product associate in the product support department learning the mechanical aspects of Link-Belt cranes and working closely with customers in the field.

Prior to joining Link-Belt he was a computer-based designer in the printed circuit board industry and served as a weapons control technician and force protection specialist in the United States Navy.

"Jeff's experience gives him extensive technical knowledge of our cranes and how customers actually use them," said Leffler. "That understanding—along with impressive communication skills—allows him to train personnel with the information they need to go to work."

Horan is also head coach of the Eastern Kentucky University hockey team.
