Roll-Dock moves into mobile cranes

Dutch based heavy lift and transport company Roll-Dock has entered the large mobile crane market with a subsidiary Roll-Lift.

The chairman of the Capelle aan den Ijssel, (Rotterdam) based international company is Frans van Seumeren, as president of the supervisory board and a major shareholder. Van Seumeren was chief executive of international heavy lift company Mammoet until 2005. Wout van der Zwan is general manager of both Roll-Dock and Roll Lift.

Roll-Deck has ordered six new heavy lift/transport ships from the Larsen & Toubro yard in India, while we understand that at the first 20 or more cranes have been purchased for the Roll-Lift crane fleet, including All Terrains and large crawlers from both Terex and Liebherr.
