UK Hull-based crane and access sales and rental company Peter Hird & Sons has added 21 Genie electric and diesel scissors to its fleet.
The order includes six different models including GS-1932, 2632 and 3246 electric scissors and GS-2669, 3269 and 5390 diesel scissors and takes its access rental fleet to around 500 units.
The order includes Hirds largest scissor lift, the 53ft platform height Genie GS-5390 with 680kg platform capacity and 6.57 metre by 2.29 metres extended platform.
Managing director Philip Hird said that the company will continue to add to its access fleet over the coming months with machines such as the JLG Toucan 10E mast boom and 43ft Niftylift HR15N articulated boom lift.
As well as its growing powered access fleet, the company also provides mini crane and glass lifting equipment rental, contract lifting and machinery moving services.
