Facelift announces ‘new concept’ access platform

After being approached by one of the UK’s largest wind farm maintenance company, Wind Up Wind Farms Ltd, Facelift responded immediately and commissioned the first generation Wumag 30m HC.

During recent trials in the North Sea it quickly became apparent that its applications are limitless. The hovercraft provides an excellent platform for the 30m Wumag hover picker.

Facelifts new Wumag 30m HC

Mr Peter Bine, of Wind Up Wind Farms, commented on the excellent performance of this machine. Operator sea sickness was initially an issue however, Facelift has recruited a team of ex-fisherman and trained them to Hover-Picker safety standards.
A new inflatable safety harnesses has also been developed for Hover-Picker use.

Facelift has already had keen interest from a large window cleaning company based in Venice, Italy!
