Speedy takes an Ormig

UK based rental company Speedy Hire has purchased a new 10 tonne Ormig 10tm diesel powered pick & carry crane.

The crane was delivered by Ormig’s UK distributor Crowland Cranes directly to Speedy’s ‘blue chip’ engineering customer.

The new crane was supplied with both quick release hydraulic luffing jib and hydraulic fork attachments. It also included full operator and engineer familiarisation training for a team of over 20 people.

The new crane fitted with forks

This is Speedy’s first mobile crane purchase and its area manager Davey Walker said: “This has been a high profile project for both Speedy Services and Crowland Cranes. We had serious deadlines to meet which we beat with time to spare. Both the customer and Speedy were delighted with the whole process and are delighted with the product.”
