TNT Acquires Turner Bros
Houston Texas based TNT Crane and Rigging has acquired the crane operations of Oklahoma based Turner Bros.
TNT has acquired all the shares in Turner, but spun the transport, pipe handling and warehousing operations off to the former owners. No financial details of transaction have yet been released. TNT was itself acquired by Odyssey Investment Partners late last year.

Turner has 60 cranes operating from branches in Houston, Longview, Beaumont, Abilene and Corpus Christi. The takeover takes TNT’s fleet to more than 230 cranes - topped by 1,200 tonne LiebherrLTM11200 Telescopic - servicing the Gulf Coast from 11 branches in the states of Texas, Louisiana and Oklahoma.
The acquisition is TNT’s largest to date and follows a string of such moves since TNT was acquired by MML Capital Partners in 2007.
