IPAF revenues exceed a £1 million

IPAF (The International Powered Access Federation) has circulated its annual accounts to members prior to the AGM next week. The accounts reflect the expansion in membership, along with the growing recognition of the PAL training card across Europe and now into North America with revenues rising by almost 30 percent to £1.2 million in 2004.

The number of people being trained under IPAF programmes has increased to 40,000 a year and is still rising rapidly, as the ISO approved courses and certification gain credence on a truly international level. The emergence of an internationally recognised training card is unique among equipment training programmes.

The not for profit association, generated a profit before tax of £175,000 of which £40,000 was due to an exceptional gain from the sale of the federations shares in PAC.

IPAF is holding its annual summit next week at Whittlebury Hall, near the Silverstone F1 racetrack in central England. Tickets for the summit and the following dinner are still available.
