IPS opens in Australia,

Independent Parts & Service (IPS), the aerial lift parts and service provider has employed Chris McCoy to open up a new location in Brisbane, Australia.

The new location which opens its doors for business next week will be responsible for servicing the Australasian market and joins the UK operation that was first established in 2001 and now covers Europe and the Middle East.

Chris McCoy joins IPS as MD of its new Bisbane operation

McCoy has been appointed as Managing Director of IPAS Australasia, prior to the appointment he spent 20 years in the Australian aerial lift industry with Snorkel and Genie.

IPS Business Development Director, Rick Mustillo commented “We are very pleased to have Chris join the IPS group. His industry experience can only add to our capabilities as a group to offer choice and service in the important after-market sales sector. We also have a number of customers throughout Asia who will benefit greatly from a presence in their own time zone”.

The IPS product range includes after-market sales, including batteries, power management products, controllers, filters and hydraulic components, along with field service and workshop based refurbishment.
