Singapore safety exhibition opens
Singapore’s Occupational Safety + Health Exhibition for Asia opened yesterday at the Suntec Convention Centre.
The exhibition was officially opened by Singapore’s deputy prime minister and minister of finance, Tharman Shanmugaratnam, who then took a tour of the exhibition, accompanied by representatives from government and safety institutions, including IPAF chief executive Tim Whiteman.
Shanmugaratnam also visited the IPAF stand to learn more about powered access and aerial lifts, along with safe working at height.

“We were delighted to receive the deputy prime minister and to have the opportunity to highlight IPAF’s safety initiatives and training programmes, and to demonstrate the advantages of low-level access equipment,” said Whiteman.
The first IPAF Asia Conference will be held alongside the show tomorrow - Friday, 14th September. For more information and to register, visit
