It’s all over

The Lavendon Group Cycle Challenge ended on Tuesday as the final team pedalled into the company’s Lutterworth headquarters – seven days and more than 750km from the start in Alpen Germany.

In total around 40 employees took part in the event, including cyclists, drivers, organisers and others, the 2012 Cycle Challenge has brought together employees from the European countries of the Lavendon Group in the aid of four good charities.

Round the last bend

Money raised is going to charities selected by employees in each of the four countries. The charities chosen were Cancer Research (UK), Centre Accueil Alzheimer (Belgium), En France et Partage (France) and Dolphin Aid (Germany).

Three cheers for all those who took part

The high-specification bikes will now be subject to a free prize draw. All donors who register a donation at: www.justgiving.com/Lavendon-Group-PLC will be entered in the draw. Once the £600 donation mark is reached, a further bike will be made available for the draw.
