1 Up Access opens training centre

UK based 1 Up Access has become an IPAF authorised training centre and has employed Steve James as a new instructor.

The company has been offering IPAF courses for some time by using other certified training companies and since January has trained over 250 people at its Sheffield premises. The company says that it is moving to new 300 square metre offices in November which will enable it to offer multiple training courses each day.

Ben James (L) welcomes Steve James as 1 Up Access' IPAF instructor

Speaking of James' appointment, managing director of 1 Up Ben James said:
“Steve has been in the access industry for over 35 years was therefore ideal to develop our training division. I would like to personally thank Brian Nicholls from APL and Lee Simpson from AJ Access for helping him though the difficult process of becoming a IPAF instructor.”

“We have been bringing in other training companies to provide IPAF courses so it became a no brainer for us to become a centre ourselves with our own employed trainer.”
