Mills orders more platforms
Brazillian rental company Mills Estruturas e Serviços de Engenharia has issued a statement saying that it has ordered a further $71 million worth of powered access equipment. Deliveries of the new machines will start at the end of this year.
The majority of the orders are with JLG, Genie and Skyjack and the value is slightly higher than the amount it has spent on new aerial lifts this year.
The new orders have been made in order to cope with current demand and the anticipation of this continuing through 2013. In order to cover itself from currency exchange rate fluctuations the company has entered into a hedge contract, equal to R$147 million ($72 million).
