Lifterz fleet tops 600
UK powered access rental company Lifterz has added further units to its fleet, taking it to over 600 units for the first time.
The company which now operates out of three locations in Yorkshire, Lancashire and Devon, is a member of the Access Link and has not added a large number of units this year. Director Malcolm Bowers said: “The numbers ramped quite quickly at the end of 2011 as we kitted out our Lancashire depot, however, this year we have not been buying anything in any real quantities, instead concentrating on fleet balancing.”
In the past year or two Lifterz has focused on larger and heavy duty electric scissor lifts including units from Holland Lift, PB Lifts and Iteco, although one of its most recent acquisitions was a 21 metre CTE truck mount. In April it added around 25 units to its fleet from the 70 or so it acquired with the Diamond Construction & Engineering access fleet.
