Thomas appoints Dutch dealer.

Thomas, the Belgian manufacturer of trailer and vehicle mounted lifts, has appointed IPSAM International nv as its new distributor for the Netherlands

IPSAM International nv, a Belgian company located near in Essen near the Dutch border, is totally new to the aerial platform business. The company was founded in 1952 and is now part of the Instromet group

A 15 metre Thomas trailer lift

While it is new to access, IPSAM is a well known manufacturer of agricultural equipment including pumping systems and manure spreaders, it also produces a wide range of industrial maintenance and municipal machinery from sewer draining trucks to aircraft sanitary vehicles. It sells its products largely in the Benelux region.

With a wide range of customers in the region, many of whom already use access equipment, IPSAM believes that it can be successful with the Thomas range.

The Thomas tractor mounted aerial lifts, will certainly appeal to IPSAM’s agricultural and forestry customers, while its municipality contacts will be helpful for the trucks and trailers.

The two companies will also look to cooperate in other areas with IPSAM being able to offer a full customer support service throughout the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxemburg.
