Tadano fraudster turns himself in

Anthony Chiofalo, the ex-vice president of legal affairs at Tadano America, has turned himself in to police in Newport, Rhode Island.

Chiofalo and his wife are accused of embezzling £9 million between 2009 and 2012, he was dismissed in May this year and then charged. His wife Susan was arrested in June and held with bail set at $18 million. Chiofala, 51, escaped and has been on the run ever since. Click here to see VP swindles Tadano of million.

Police reports state that Chiofalo walked into the Newport police station on Thursday December 20th with a large black suitcase containing around $125,000 in cash.
