OSHA deputy to speak at Summit
Jordan Barab, deputy assistant secretary of labor - the second in command at OSHA – the Occupational Safety and Health Agency - will speak at the IPAF Summit in Miami on March 26th.

His presentation will be entitled ‘Scaling New Heights in Fall Protection’, he joins a line up of speakers that includes Terex chief executive Ron DeFeo, Michael Kneeland- chief executive of United Rentals, Tim Hatch - vice president of engineering at JLG, Andy Studdert - chief executive of NES Rentals and Sérgio Kariya - director of Mills Rental.
IPAF chief executive Tim Whiteman said: “We are delighted that Mr Barab will share his thoughts on preventing falls from height with us at the IPAF Summit – he has been a tireless champion of safety in the work place and his presentation will be much anticipated.”
The Summit will be held at the Miami Hilton starting at 10:00, the theme is ‘Safety from the Top’. There is no charge to attend, but those wishing to attend should reserve a place – see our events section on the home page. The Summit will be followed by the IPAF dinner which will include the presentation of the International Awards for Powered Access, for which tickets are still available.
