Lawson joins Riwal
Wayne Lawson has joined Dutch international rental company Riwal as regional director for northern Europe.
Lawson was managing director of JLG’s European region until he ‘retired’ in March, although he joined the JLG stand at Bauma in April. He also recently completed his two year appointment as president of IPAF.

Wayne Lawson
Lawson will be responsible for leading and directing strategy for the United Kingdom, Germany, Poland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Spain according to Riwal group strategies and vision. He will report to Riwal chief executive Norty Turner and be based in the United Kingdom.
He replaces Pedro Torres who joined the company in November and who moves to region director responsible for the Netherlands , France, Brazil, Slovenia and Croatia.
Turner said: “I am extremely pleased that Wayne Lawson is joining Riwal. With his extensive international experience in the powered access industry, he will be instrumental in helping Riwal continue to provide outstanding service for our customers and to serve as a strong leader for our employees in this critical region in Europe.”
Prior to joining JLG at the end of 2001 Lawson was senior vice-president of crane sales and marketing for Grove cranes covering the Europe, Africa and Middle East countries. He has spent virtually all of his career in the crane and access industries.
