Mills more than doubles its spend

Brazilian rental company Mills has announced that it has revised its 2013 budget and is more than doubling the capital expenditure on aerial lifts and telehandlers within its Rental division.

It is also more than doubling its new branch opening plans from five in the original budget to 12.

The company had initially planned to spend R124million ($60.7 million), but has now increased this to R274 million ($134 million)– almost 60 percent of the group’s total investment for the year. The aim is not only to meet the strong demand from its current branches but also to stock up 12 new locations planned for 2013.
