Vertikal Comment

This needs little if anything from us, but is a completely understandable reaction given the tragic events of earlier this week. We understand that the machine remains where it fell, which has restricted any detailed investigation. The plan is to remove the unit on Saturday night and take it the HSE laboratory in Buxton for further analysis.

Hopefully the Health & Safety Executive will get a move on now and let everyone know what caused this overturn. The industry and all parties involved need to have at least some preliminary findings next week.

When the engines of a British Airways aircraft caught fire a couple of weeks ago, investigators issued a preliminary report within the week, there is no reason for the HSE not to be as prompt with their initial findings.
