Sunbelt sells Scaffold business

Sunbelt Rentals, the USA subsidiary of the Ashtead group, has sold its specialty scaffold business in Oregon, Washington, California and Texas to Safway Services, Inc.

The sale is intended to allow Sunbelt to focus on its core construction and General rental businesses in these markets. Sunbelt Rentals will continue operating its scaffolding specialty business throughout the Eastern and Southeastern U.S.
