The first Z135/70 in Europe starts work in Cardiff

The unit is owned by Hi-Reach the Swindon based access rental company. The customer for this job is Bellway homes. “Powered access is becoming increasingly used in these applications, apart from versatility and cost-effectiveness, security becomes an issue especially when some of the apartments are occupied. The aesthetics are also enhanced by not having the building shrouded in scaffolding”. Said managing director of Hi-Reach, Paul Richards.

Note: At Platformer Days in Germany this weekend a Dutch attendee, claimed that the first two units were in fact ordered by a company in Holland. That may or may not be, but Genie confirms that the first unit "delivered" is the one to Hi-Reach!
