LGH expands in the USA

Lifting Gear Hire Corporation, the U.S affiliate of Manchester, UK. based Lifting Gear Hire Ltd, the lifting equipment rental company, has opened a new distribution centre in New Orleans.

The new location will have a start up inventory of over a $ million and also holds full-hoist load-testing capabilities up to a 25-ton capacity. The New Orleans location was launched due to the high volume of business Lifting Gear Hire says it is experiencing in Louisiana

“Opening a New Orleans distribution centre was truly a common sense move,” said Kyle Johnston, the sales representative who oversees the New Orleans market. “We can now serve our Louisiana customers locally and even offer same day equipment delivery within 60 miles of New Orleans,” continued Johnston.

This addition takes the number of distribution depots to seven in six states of the USA, With locations also in Washingon, Texas, Michigan, Missouri ans Illinois
