Spanish Omega

Vamasa, one of the largest access rental companies in Spain has taken delivery of on of the first 26 metre (80ft) 1.2m (4ft) wide Omega NS260 electric powered scissor lifts.

The unit was sold through distributor Plataformas y Maquinaria 2000, Vamasa runs a fleet of around 1700 platforms and 250 telescopic handlers in addition to a significant fork lift fleet. Based in Valencia it has eight locations across Spain.

The unusual machine was delivered this week to the company’s Madrid depot, which they opened two years ago, following the breakdown of the UMVA joint venture with Spanish rental company Umesa.
