Get ready for APEX
APEX, Europe’s largest dedicated access equipment show by far, opens on September 22nd.. This years show, the first in the new three year cycle, promises to be the best ever.
Over 100 companies associated with access equipment are exhibiting, they range form the largest manufacturers to component and services suppliers.
Most of the large and medium rental companies are also sending delegates along with sales agents, service contractors and distributors. It promises to be a great venue to network and make new contacts as well as compare notes with your peers.
It is also looking like a great new product venue, with many of the manufacturers using APEX for their major new product launches this year.
Companies like
-Dino, with a new 26m trailer lift,
-Genie with its new 51metre articulated boom,
-Ruthmann with a new T-370 truck mount, the details of which it is keeping close to its chest,
-Wumag with its 22metre truck mount,
-Haulotte with two new self propelled articulated booms and its first truck mounted lift.
-Aichi says that it will unveil details of a striking new self propelled range,
-New MEC will be attending its first international show and says it will unveil new RT models planned for Spring 2006.
-Manitou will unveil new Electric boom developments.
-Bison-Palfinger will show its new 61 metre truck mount,
-Holland lift has two new models and says that it will have some surprises on its stand,
-Omega Lift will show its new 26m ultra narrow scissor,
-Kesla has its new 19 metre lightweight self propelled,
-Bronto its 85 metre fire fighting boom,
-Denka its battery powered DLX15 and the recently created Worldlift industries appearing at a show for the first time.
-JLG will have its Liftlux range and new trailer lifts.
-IPAF will be talking about the several new services that it has launched this year.
- And you can be sure that there will be a great deal more novelties at the show, most of the larger manufacturers are sending all of their senior managers, so a great opportunity to meet, confront or do a deal with them.
Apart from the manufacturers, some great ideas can also be garnered from the component suppliers, including batteries, chargers, remote controls, overload devices, paint work restorers, not to mention the parts and service companies and used equipment traders.
