Squatting on the ledge

Spotted by a reader in Shanghai last week, a man trying to reach a ventilation unit by squatting on a narrow ledge over six floors up.

The man is wearing some sort of harness and lanyard

While this looks like a classic Death Wish - and to some extent is - the man is at least wearing a very rudimentary harness as far as we can see. It looks less than safe, but at least he is more aware of the dangers than many of his compatriots.
