Kögel secures MDs

German trailer manufacturer Kögel has extended the contracts of its three managing directors until the end of 2019.

Thomas Heckel became chief executive in 2009 having joined Kögel’s sister company Humbaur in 1994. HR and finance director Jürgen Steinbacher joined Humbaur’s executive board in 2007 before moving to his current position in 2009. Thomas Eschey, who currently manages Kögel’s Engineering and Production business units, started as a design engineer back in 1995, before becoming the company’s technical director.

Kögel owner Ulrich Humbaur said: “I am very pleased to have been able to make an early extension to the contracts for the three tried and tested Kögel managing directors. They have all made outstanding efforts over the past few years and I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to them for this. I am also convinced that this continuity will continue to have a positive sustainable influence on Kögel's success.”
