Apex 2005 opened its doors at 10:30 this morning with major lines at the visitor registration desks. Attendance looks set to break all records.

Apex 2005 opened its doors today to the biggest show so far

With over 100 exhibitors and many new products it promises to be the best show ever by a long way.
New products that caught the eye at the entrance were the Haulotte HTB18 truck mounted lift, one of a range of three telescopic units with platform heights of 14, 16 and 18 metres, based on 3.5 tonne truck chassis.

Haulotte also launched two new articulating boom lifts and a range of seven portable lifts with heights of seven to 14 metres.
A new 12.5 metre Leguan crawler mounted self propelled boom, its first departure from its traditional skid steer concept, also surprised with its new design in-house tracked undercarriage.
