BAC to sell PB in Holland

BAC Hoogwerkers B.V has been appointed as the Dutch distributor for PB Liftechnik GmbH. The agreement was ratified at APEX last week. BAC runs a mid sized rental fleet in Holland which includes a number of specialised niche machines, which it also offers for re-rent throughout Europe.

In the past BAC was the Denka distributor for Holland and was very successful with sales to both end users and other rental companies.

PB Liftechnik has been in business for over 20 years producing a range of specialised lifts, including Europe’s first self propelled vertical mast lift.
The company launched the TOP16 a new range of compact high reach scissors at APEX last week, BAC sees the 15 and 17 metre working height models as ideally suited to Holland, where high quality, high reach scissors are greatly appreciated.

The main difference the two new models offer is their compact dimensions; both are just over three metres long and 1.5metres wide. They weigh 4,900 and 5,200 Kgs respectively.

Dic Bac, owner of BAC Hoogwerkers said “The 15 and 17 metre scissors are perfect machines for Holland, they can be loaded on smaller delivery trucks or you can put two machines on to a larger truck to reduce delivery costs”

BAC also see the PB Dino electric powered boom lift as having good potential in Holland, thanks to its compact dimensions and articulating jib.
