JCB chairman Anthony Bamford said: “During John’s time as chief executive, JCB achieved unprecedented sales growth and led the company’s transformation into a truly global company. I thank John for his contribution over the past 43 years and am delighted he will remain as a director and continue as chairman of the JCB USA companies.”
“JCB has made excellent progress in North America in recent years but there are many more opportunities to be seized and I wish Arjun Mirdha well as he leads the team.”
Mirdha, who reports to Graeme Macdonald, JCB group chief executive, was previously chief operating officer of JCB America in Savannah, Georgia.
