New President for Acme Lift
US based wholesale rental company Acme Lift has appointed Mike Crouch as president and chief operating officer.
Crouch joins the business from Volvo Rents where he was vice president business development, focusing on mergers and acquisitions. In all he spent almost 14 years with Volvo Rents which was recently acquired by Platinum Equity.

Mike Crouch
Crouch started out with Hertz Equipment Rental in 1978 as a sales coordinator in Seattle moving up to become a regional vice president within two years. Between 1981 and 1995, he worked at US Rentals, MQ Power and Hertz Equipment in California and Texas, in operations and sales management.
In 1995, he returned to US Rentals as a division manager and stayed aboard when US Rentals was acquired by United Rentals. He joined Volvo Rents Europe in 2002 as vice president and member of the company’s European management team. In 2004, he returned to the United States as vice president of operations for Volvo Rents North America.
