New head for PSS

UK based PSS Hire, the specialist rental company acquired by Ashtead, has appointed Mark Hamilton as its new director

Hamilton joins the company from Balfour Beatty Utility Solutions where he was head of plant and logistics services. In his new role he will be responsible for setting the PSS strategy with a focus on the company’s product offering and market expansion across the gas, water and the electricity sectors.

A-Plant’s chief executive Sat Dhaiwal said: “Mark brings a great depth of knowledge and experience of working with the gas, water and electricity sectors. He has an extensive background in dealing with plant hirers, procurement teams and the supply chain as a whole, both in the UK and overseas. He will be a great asset to the PSS business.”
