Skyking takes on Easy

UK based King Vehicle Engineering has appointed Malcolm Kitt as Skyking regional sales manager and is taking over the Easylift spider lift distribution for the UK and Ireland.

Kitt, who owns Powerlift UK, a producer of van mounted lifts and distributor for Easylift spider lifts and Movex truck mounted lifts, will wind down the Powerlift business in order to concentrate on his new position. King represents Palfinger Platforms and mounts distributes GSR vehicle mounted lifts in the UK.

King’s chief executive Mark Carrington said: “I have known Malcolm for many years and felt that he would be a great fit with the King team and our plans to introduce new products at the lower end of the access height range whilst also having a good understanding of our existing products from GSR and Palfinger.”

Kitt added: “Joining Skyking has given me the opportunity to not only be part of a major company, but also maintain my existing relationships with Easylift.”
