Loxam adds Brontos

Loxam UK is taking delivery of a number of new Bronto Skylift truck mounted lifts as part of a heavy investment in new truck mounted lifts for 2014.

Included in the investment are a 50 metre Bronto S50XTD-J, and a 70 metre S70XDT. The two trucks are equipped with the latest customer focused features, including lighting rig and camera pods for media applications, earth bonding for industrial and high voltage electrical work, and spark arrestor with Chalwyn valve for refinery and general petro-chemical applications. Each machine also has a 300kg winch attachment for specialist lifting tasks such as sheet and glass handling.

The two new Bronto truck mounts

Mounted on three and four axle Volvo chassis, the units include reversing cameras larger outrigger mats, in order to ease handling of these heavy items, Loxam worked with Bronto to find a solution and selected round pads with low access points to ease manual handling by the operators.
