Palfinger launch new models

Palfinger has announced two new models in its Performance range, the PK 8501 Performance and its big brother the PK 10501. The new loader cranes are designed for heavy duty everyday lifting.

The new Palfinger PK8501 Performance



Equipped with up to five hydraulic extensions the PK8501 offers a lifting moment of 7.9 metre/tonnes with a powered outreach of 14 metres. While the PK10501 boasts10.1 metre-tonnes and a hydraulic outreach of 14.2 metres.

These two new cranes are the first eight or 10 metre-tonne class cranes from Palfinger to be equipped with the innovative HPLS technology. The HIGH POWER LIFTING SYSTEM. Palfinger says that HPLS increases the lifting capacity of the crane by up to 10 per cent albeit at a reduced working speed.
A wide stabiliser spread of up to 5.6 metres provides plenty of stability.

The larger PK10501 performance


Palfinger has targeted markets such as local authorities by offering a wide range of attachments allowing them to be used on a range of applications. Including clamshell grab and auger work.
